Women enrollment in academic programmes has been increasing tremendously since the formation of the University in 1985 . It was less than 10% in 1985. It is about 73% in 2024. As per UGC norms and welfare of the Women students, a common room with facilities such as cot, table-chairs, mirror etc for the use of women students in each academic blocks/buildings have been provided as a facility and security.
